so a girl who has no ties to me in any way messages me on facebook about 2-3 weeks ago. we talk randomly and in the past week it gets to be about once a day. i always talked to her in a dsiconnected kind of manner cause i didnt know who she was and the convos were kidna dry

shes my age and lives about an hour away. she kinda has potential to be somewhat trashy....:hsugh:

well yesterday she starts doin this thing where shes telling me to look at her facebook pic and tell her if i think shes pretty, what do i like about her etc, like just getting me to compliment her the whole time. then she says she really wants to hang out and get wasted.

this to me sounds like a bad situation...i had one girl in HS i went on one date with and kinda got the same impression. let that one go and a week later she got pregnant from some other guy. dodged a bullet there.

am i being too cautious if i choose to just stop talking to her altogether or give her a shot to hang out once?

Could be the exception that proves the rule?

Man, you don't have to do anything you don't want to, what's the problem with getting wasted with some lady?
Just don't take her to your house or anything. Just in case she's the next Aileen Wuornos or something.

Oops. I should really pay more attention before charging in with my useless advice.

Seriously though dude, ask if she'd like to go for a drink or something, rather than going to your house. If she says no, then she probably does have an ulterior motive...

    Fair enough.

I've only recently gone ahead with someone I was really unsure about (for a totally different reason!) and it turned out to be a very good thing.

Nothing worse than lamenting on opportunities missed, etc, etc...
