well, i made up this routine at the beginning of the week. today will be my 2nd day of it...

the MMA training is mostly learning techniques, practicing them, and then sparring... the conditioning is pretty much up to me. should I just lift 3 - 4 days a week? (m,w,f,s)

    i reccomend... no.

Lift three days a week. Do not isolate muscles. Bodybuilding and MMA do not go hand in hand. Powerlifting would probably be best if you want to gain that much weight. I reccomend doing less weight more reps and full body workouts... at the end of the day your muscles will have been worked very well but it really emphasizes conditioning of your cardio and muscular endurance, which are extremely important.

My reccomendation is to fight at your natural weight, and not try to bulk or bodybuild... it will only make you a less effective fighter
