    Here's my story....

I'm was an infantry Marine who WAS getting deployed to Iraq. We did 4 months of buildup training, then it was going to be 7 months in Iraq.

At the very end of the 4 months of buildup training, I was injured and never made it to Iraq.

For those 4 months of training, it was very hard for our command to get all of our training in, and also find time to go to the chow hall and eat. I lost about 20 pounds, due to lots of cardio, sweating, and an average of about 1500 calories a day.

Now, 3 months later, I still can't eat as much as i'd like to. I use to be able to eat anything, but now I get full very fast.

Could my training have anything to do with me not being able to eat as much? Why? And also, can I build up my appetite again?

Stomach shrunk. Just eat up to your desired calorie intake.

you're used to not eating as much. your body adjusted.

now just adjust it to eating more and dont expect the appetite to return over night.
