Right now i have an Ipod connected to my stereo through a casette adapter. I recently purchased a navman icn510 GPS that has a headphone jack to connect powered speakers or headphones. What i wanted to know is, is there any way to hook up both the ipod and the GPS to the casette deck?

What i'm thinking is (if this even exists) get some sort of Y adapter, hook up cable from iPod into one, hook up GPS to the other, casette adapter goes into the other end, the signals are put together. I would set the GPS volume at 100%, the iPod at 50%. Then when the GPS is annoucning a turn it would just play louder than the music coming from the ipod and would be easily heard

    Possible?

BTW, in case you couldn't tell from my poor description, all 3 ends would have to be female
