    alright here are my specs...

    p4 3.2 (prescott)
    1 gb ram
    128mb gforce fx5700 ultra
    120gb 7200 rpm

i have 2 antec 120mm fans running intake and exhaust, and a vantec aeroflow 2 cooling the cpu.

before i upgraded my heatsink, my cpu idle temp was around 44-46C

with my setup now, cpu temp is still the same, and system temp is 16C (i never checked what system temp was before)

so my question is are my temperatures within good range or what?

maybe i didn't put enough artic silver 5 on :dunno:

well if you ask youre probably not overclocking type?

i mean mid 50 for prescott isnt that bad and i would not worry about 50s either

of courese you want as low as possible but youre fine
    dont worry man

Is "sytem temp" the temperature of the case itself, or the actual mobo as a whole. Cuz mine' is 18-20C and i've tried probably 20+ BIOS' for this computer (search for the ultimate overclocker lol). MY room is 65-75F (18-24C) most of the time. (sensor probably ~5C off)

What do you guys consider full load?

My CPU is running 31 deg C idle, 42 deg C at load while running benchmark tests. Athlon 64 3200+ at stock settings. Three 80mm fans, one 120mm fan, one 40mm fan, and the thermaltake over the CPU

    Which Thermaltake heatsink&fan is that?
Looks like the Volcano 12, which is what I've got and using the front mounted manual fan speed control

At stock settings and at 5500 rpm for this fan and 4500 rpm for my additional fans, I can't get the CPU above 41-42 deg C at full load. Once I get my RAM issue fixed, I'll start overclocking.
