    i'm telling you , start with more calories. You need to give yourself room to reduce gradually as your body adapts.

    Get more protein and eat more... I don't know how many you needed to bulk... but I'm eating around 3700... and I'll probably start at 3200 or so...

    Take it slow... if you try to cut too fast you'll waste a year's time of efforts and progress. Don't worry about you're belly... It shouldn't take long for it to become noticeable smaller.

    Why, and how do I know when my body is adapting at an appropriate rate? I can't find any information on why I should do this, other than people telling me, "just because."

    Werd, Gradually start reducing calories and just watch what your body does.
