Every single gun range in Palm Beach County got together and essentially agreed to make it a policy at their ranges that you can only shoot ammo that you bought at the range, you cannot bring your own ammo. Every single range in the county then jacked the prices up to like $14 a box for their shitty 9mm reloads and even more for other calibers and that's all you're allowed to shoot at their ranges. Every range in the county agreed to do this.

    Bastards.

Damn, that's fucked up. Hopefully people will stop shooting at those ranges and they'll go out of business.

I can see that it sucks, but its private business and they can make their own rules

    better business bureau?

they make you shoot your own gun with their ammo? that's shitty. i can understand their wanting you to use their ammo on their rentals, but not on your own guns

just more proof that gun shops don't give a shit about the average shooter, and only care about money.

Seems everyone ends up driving awhile to go shoot. About a 40-45 min drive I'd guess to get to the range I shoot at.

The local indoor range stopped allowing you to use Blazer because the person that buy's their brass doesn't want any aluminum in it.

Not price fixing, but sprite hit it on the head. The thing is, you have to have proof that they got together and did it. They'll claim it was just a coincidence.

The one range I went to (Palm Beach Shooting Center) checked my entire range bag before going to the firing line :greddy: I don't know if all of them do this or not, but fuck them i'm not going to support them even if it is just one box and range fees.

  25. that's pretty :greddy:

I'm not sure about the indoor one here but the outdoor one doesn't have much ammo to sell anyway.
