is this an ok diet i have been on V trying to cut some weight

    doing cardio every day with it

    breakfast- ( before early class) - nutrigrain bar, glass of OJ

    lunch- Two cans tuna ( mixed with 1 tblespoon light miracle whip) baby carrots ( dizzled with light italian, tblspn over them) tuna is over lettuce leaves (kinda wrap the lettuce around the tuna and it it that way)

    dinner- same thing, only 1 can tuna n half tablespoon miracle whip light. and two grilled boneless skinless chicken breast seasoned with salt n pepper. lots of H2O during the day

    i take a multi vitamin ( mens 1 a day )

    anything i should add or take away?

    Considering that maybe 1000-1200calories, I wouldnt go below 1800

    I'm 6'3, probably weigh more than you, and I too am dieting, here is my days meals...
    Breakfast
    4eggs 1 white

    2slices bacon
    3 fish oil caps


    Lunch
    1 chicken breast
    Rice and beans
    3 fish oil

    Pre workout
    2 scoops whey

    Post workout
    3 scoops whey
    1 scoop Gatorade

    Dinner
    2 chickenbreasts
    Rice & beans

    Before bed
    2 scoops whey
    2 cups milk
    more fish oil

    Start out higher with your calories, like 2500 for one weeks see what happens, and just lower it by 200 each week until your losing around 1.5lbs a week

    eat reletively clean, just be sure and get 1-2 grams protein per pound bodyweight

    275-500g I think I am getting like 165 from shakes alone 30 from the eggs and about 150 from all the chicken, plus whatever the beans and rice have.

    How would you do low carb and low fat, when one thing goes down another has to go up. And yes you dont want to be like some anorexia girl who eats 3 cheese cubes a day.

    yeah, and it depends on how big the chickens are, I eat about 18 oz. of chicken a day

    well i will stick to low fat then haha.

    it doesent matter does it? like if you do either or? i thought i read somewhere in a study that one group of people did low fat n the other low carb with same results.

    this was during the low carb atkins boom

    Keep the protein high, and fill the rest with whatever.

    Low fat is great to screw up hormones, I would go below 80g in a day and it should be good fats, mono's and poly's, some sat is fine

    ok then i will eat healthy carbs like whole wheat rice, pasta and bread
    and health fats like peanutbutter n peanutts in moderation?
