I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in Vag. Here seemed better.

I have a female friend. She and her bf took a break for a few weeks. During that break, her bf kissed another chick. They got back together, and he told her about it in fairness. His gf wanted to see a pic of the girl he kissed, so he showed her one. She basically said "eww, that girl is fat and nasty."

Note: I know both of them. The gf is much better looking, probably a 9/10, and the other girl he kissed is a bit thicker, not as pretty of a face, and maybe a 6/10.

I see the gf on a regular basis, and she always mentions the chick her bf kissed, but she always has to throw in a "stupid fat ugly whore" comment. Here is an example. I'll be talking to the gf, and the conversation will go something like this:

Me: Wow, that's a nice car *points to a car driving by*
Her: Yeah, that's what the stupid fatass whore, (girl's name), drives
    Me: :ugh:

Whereas I think the conversation should go like this:

Me: Wow, that's a nice car *points to a car driving by*
Her: Yeah, that's what (girl's name) drives
    Me: Oh.

Is the fact that the gf always brings up this chick, and when she mentions her, she mentions what a "fat, stupid whore" she is, indicative of the gf being jealous or insecure or something? Because I can't see how saying that she's a "fat, stupid whore" is relevant to a conversation about what kind of car she drives.

edit - it's actually kinda funny cuz the gf has been with more guys than the other girl he kissed (I know all of them), so she's not really the whore, comparatively speaking :mamoru:

well, she's upsetr that her bf kissed another girl, and she has to make herself feel better by insulting the other girl. Otherwise, that girl might be equal to her in looks, or something like that, and the bf could possibly go after her.

Now, the fact that she keeps bringing it up isn't a great sign for the relationship...probably means that it will be thrown out there in every single fight they have.

The reason I asked is because it reminds me of when I was younger, like in middle school... if I didn't like someone (cuz I was jealous of them), every time I brought them up I would say something bad about them. It's pretty sad when a 26 year old girl does something that reminds you of how you acted when you were 12.

    She's obsessed and insecure.

Next time she says something about it, say that she's right and her boyfriend has horrible taste in girls.

Hmm..I say everybody does this. I do it. Even guys do it, like when a girl cheats or whatever for example..she is a "slutty bitch" or something like that. Why would this girl even want to talk about this other girl. Like you said the conversation should have went "......." but why would she even want to talk about this girl. She is obviously upset about it, she is doing it to feel better. She will most likely stop.

this really should be posted in the jokes section :)
Heres a fun idea.. when your driving down the street point to a car and say" Isn't that the same car as one of the guys you fucked "insert name".. oh wait , I meant "insert another name" or was "insert another name".. dont know I get soo confused.

editted to present helpful advice: Yes, she jealous and self centered.. not uncommon in us humans!!

You say she's a 9/10...but she's very insecure about herself.

Although the truth is her bf kissing another girl...that says more about him, than some shortcoming on her part.

Although she (and every other young girl) thinks "it must be something about ME...aren't I good enough?"
Same reasoning with porn and chicks who reason "Damnit *I* should be enough for him, why does he have to look at porn..!"

And then they spin out into body dysmorphic disorder blah blah.

    Guys cheat/almost cheat/semi cheat/heavily flirt...because they can.
Could be with a hot 10/10...and a spunky 8/10 waitress/server comes along and offers something...sure why not.

    Anyways I digress.

    Is she jealous? YES. Absolutely.
Is she small minded and immature. Well at 26...its sad, but that's just the way girls are. I've noticed hotter girls are often even more small minded/bitchy/immature.

It's not really scary until you meet 45 yr old FORMERLY ultra hot girls...who no longer have the looks...but are emotionally still 16 years old.
Now THAT can be a real freakshow. Man I love family gatherings.

    Eh?
    :bowrofl:

To the OP: yeah, she's insecure. Her current BF kissed another girl during an intermission in their relationship and she harbors some fear that he finds that girl more attractive than herself and will go to that girl again in the future.... or at least she did at some point. It's possible that she's just saying that out of habit now. If you're sick of hearing about it then bring it up next time she says it, and don't let her just sweep it under the rug. If she shoves it off, call her on it the next time she brings it up. You'll either hit the crux of the issue or you'll never hear about it again.

Edit: wanted to add to Johan's comment.. I have a cousin who's the stereotypical blonde bombshell. She's well into her 30s and she still can't get her head out of the clouds and down to reality. Consequently, she can't keep a man. I'm waiting for the freak show  because I'm not anywhere near her good looks (or her age, for that matter) and yet I've had no trouble with men as far as getting and keeping them has been concerned. I'm sure the jealousy brigade will begin shortly.
