Is this a good post workout shake?

    Serving size is 2 scoops, 20 in the tub. So you are paying 36 bucks before shipping for 10 drinks.

    Just have a protein shake and use powdered gatorade for your carbs.

    What about a shake w/water and just regular gatorade from a bottle?:dunno:

    I mix my whey protein with a packet of Carnation instant breakfast for post workout. Kinda like drinkin sludge

    That doesnt sound to tastey though, the gatorade might taste good if I can come up with two good mixing flavors.

    I don't think it really matters. The powder is cheaper though considering you can make a couple gallons with it

    Protein and carbs is what you want, not offering an end all solution to the postworkout drink, just suggesting a cheap one that gets the job done.

    vanilla protein and orange gatorade powder. Tastes like a creamsicle. :yum:

    mmmm.. but what brand of vanilla? ON's vanilla is nasty.

    Champion Nutrition is pretty decent tasting.

    I've done this with ON vanilla and it was pretty good, then again, I don't mind ON vanilla on its own.

    my g/f uses that Apex stuff, they trainer at the gym told her to buy it...expensive.

    the stuff I bought comes out to like 5 bucks a pound. 15 servings per pound. 20 grams protein and like 30 gramd sugar.
