A&P Is this a good deal?

    I would get the lights from home depot and make the barn doors and things yourself. It'll be a lot cheaper than that

    Is there a reason that you want constant lighting instead of strobes? These are ok lights for video production but not the best choice for still photography.

    I have to do some portraiture for an assignment. Tips on what is better :x:

    strobes are much better for still photography. I bought most of my photogenics lights used at my local camera shop/craigslist. Shop around, you'll find a good deal.

    edit: if you simply need lights for one assignment, rent them.
