Is this a good deal on this sony laptop? v.iknowtheguysellingit

    It really boils down to what you're going to use it for. Overall it's not a bad deal, but if you can swing the money, you can buy better brand new out of the box and a big name store with a solid return policy.

    Though, I would personally look around at a Circuit City or Best Buy and ask them what they have as an "Open Box". Not only will you get a system with more power then this one for around the same price (though, more likely a little more), you'll also be given a good warranty. Trust me on this, they come in handy when things start to go wrong..lol.

    If you want to spend some more, I might sell my IBM T23. PM if you want more info/pics and a price. Has warranty until May this year but I think you can add 3 more years for $100. Last month my power brick went bad and I called on a Sunday and talked to a CSR in Atlanta and I got a new brick in the mail on Wednesday. :bigthumb:

    1GB PC133 RAM
    60GB 7200RPM HDD (or 30GB 4200RPM HDD)
