That's sweet with the free rentals. The local club here is $125 plus you have to do three work parties per year and pay a nominal fee every time you shoot. They have public range nights, though, for like an extra dollar so I go to that. I paid $4 to shoot indoors for 2.5 hours on Friday. Can't beat that.

Doesn't seem too bad. Unlimited rentals and a free guest are some good points. 10% discount could be good too unless their prices are jacked up.

This is the range I belong to. I absolutely love it. $30/year with plinking range, 100yd rifle, 25/50yd pistol, 25yd pistol, 50yd rifle and indoor facility. Plus there is a clay pigeon area where they provide the clay launcher. I can't believe what you get for the price. Open everyday from 9am-dusk.

My range charges $200 a year and I get to use the range for free any day it is opened and I can use a private range for free and bring someone to shoot with me for free.

Not bad due to the rentals. My primary range doesn't sell anything. $100/yr, unlimited use, unlimited guests.

The club I'm looking at joining is about the same. Plenty of ranges and range space, but no rentals or public access.

    yeah thats a good deal

i pay $25/mo WITH the police/military discount (otherwise it's 30/mo) which includes free range time and a handful of other things, but not free gun rentals, just discounted rentals

also they wanted a large startup fee (like 150 or something) but i had that waived

it's a really nice club, but if there was one closer with prices like that, i'd probably join it instead

    go for it

IIRC, this one has something like a 3-year long waiting list :wtc:

I just got back from the range. I got my membership for $113.00. They gave me a law enforcement discount since I'm starting the academy in a couple months.

Riverbend is a really nice range though. I have been there as a guest, and if it was closer I might consider it.
