Even if it only puts out 1/2 it's rated poiwer, it should be fine for that subwoofer.

    JBL CS200.1 Subwoofer Mono Amp
    OBCON Godzilla GZ318-12 Subwoofer Enclosure

I can those two things from SoundDomain for $230 shipped. Don't really know how good that box is :hs:

Yeah, I'd get that JBL amplifier instead.

As for the enclosure, it doesnt say on the sounddomain website what the tuning frequency is. It might not be the best choice for your subwoofer.

I was looking all over on eBay. They have the JBL I mentioned for $145 shipped. But Sounddomain currently has free sh and 10-15% off on that model so it comes to $128.

What does the size of the spool have to do with anything? Just run 12awg and you'll be fine. Anything more would be overkill.

How long is the length of wire? If its like 5 feet or less, you could use 18awg or even smaller without any audible degredation.

But you can get decent wire for pretty cheap, so I'd say just go with 14 or 16 awg.

I've used the Soundking in the past and it works great, and IMO looks nice.

If a spool is totally out of the question, i'd get some of apexjr.com's silver plated teflon insulated wire. The stuff is somewhat stiff, but REALLY high quality, and IMO looks very nice. It's single conductor though, so youd have to twist two together to form a single cable, but thats pretty easy to do.
