that's the thing. i dunno exactly how many calories all that is. it seems pretty clean so i figured it wasnt too many calories.

i dont always do that shake post w/o. sometimes its just soy milk and protein powder. i guess they're not necessary but i figure they're good for me. should i cut them out?

    take those out

cheese has pretty high fat content, croutons are high glycemic index foods (if you want those for texture you already have the walnuts, add almonds if you want)

where is your calcium source (the soy milk?)

    what's in the burrito bowl?

I wouldn't supplement anything other fish oil, whey and maybe creatine. You can get calcium from oranges/orange juice, vegetables and grains. I haven't decided if I believe milk leaches calcium from bones

    word.

Count your calories, even if it is only for a few weeks - it will give you a better idea of what you're eating.

if you're losing weight too quickly, you're not eating enough. if you're not losing at all - you're eating too much.

No...thats maybe 1/4 the protein you need.

Add more green veggies. Ditch theat burrito garbage. Add in an asston of EFA's. Keep your carb intake morning, pre, and post workoiut. Add your fats in your last 2 meals of the day or so. Do that for a while, asses progress, and adjust ammounts from there.

why the flax in the post workout shake? especially if you have carbs in it as well, are you going to want to take in fat then?

I put ground flax in every single whey shake I make. Why would you not want fiber and some EFA??? Dont go giving me that bullshit about your body needing to absorb 500g of protein within 2.53 minutes of the conclusion of your workout BB.com bullshit:rofl:

    Sorry brotato:love:

It's sort of a pet peeve of mine. Too many people think there is some magical window where they must absorb exactly x amount of protein and y amount of carbs in order to grow and it's so far from the truth its hilarious.

But on the topic of flax, I believe it actually improves the absorption of the protein.
