like for lenses like the 50mm its a REAL pain in the ass to focus it, is there anything that wraps around the manual focus? that is secured by a screw that has a arm to move the manual focus easier?

    such thing? :hsd:

you must be the noob with the 5DII that doesn't know how to focus. you lift up your control arm, and place your fingers on the focus ring and rotate until you are in focus.

    50 1.8... :ugh:

It's got such a damn tiny focus ring I can see why he's looking for stuff to make it easier to focus. (Not to mention how the 50 1.8 doesn't focus worth a shit)

Honestly, save up your money and get a lens that isn't crap. Maybe you should have spent less on a bling bling camera and more on lenses and a moderate body, then you'd be able to get some stuff accomplished while you're learning about photography.

There are such things for Hasselblad lenses, but I've not got a clue if it'll fit something like a 50

Okay, so you're and old pro? I just kind of assumed by the blurry and out of focus snapshots you posted that you were new at this.
