is there anyway to get rid of weird lines across the sternum?

    from always being skinny and to finally just start working out seriously for the past 3 months, my chest still doesn't have that full shape. the very bottom of my sternum has no muscle on it and going upwards, there are a few lines that start around the breast plate. im guessing its the ribs that connect to the sternum? i have been neglecting decline and did mostly incline and flat db presses last month. i plan on switching to just incline and decline db presses this month to see how that goes. is there anyway i can get rid of these lines? fill them up to have the 'perfect' chest? what other work outs are recommended? is it better to do decline db press or dips?

    to give you a picture on how i'm skinny, i started at 155 standing at 6'1. i am now currently 165 and my goal is 185 by mid summer.

    I think I know what you're talking about and in that case those will eventually go away as you build muscle. But like the others have said, 3 months isn't enough time to see a massive difference.

    you came in here and asked advice, and only been working out for 3 months yet expect to have this fantastic chest


    u gained 10 pounds in water weight, and gaining a whole 30 pounds of lean muscle mass by mid-summer is almost unattainable unless you have all your meals prepared by someone and have the dedication.


    In 3 months you will see slight improve, in another 3 months maybe a little better. You wont get the built chest in that short of a time unless u have great genetics.

    Some guys workout for 1-2 years dedicated and dont see the huge ripped chest.

    continue what ur doing it takes time, fratbro


    even at 185 @ 6'1 you will still look twiggish if u some how get it. Time/dedication/nutrition = the shit u want.


    :ugh2: no wonder all the brollies are dickheads to noobs who come in and get advice, get some hilarity then get pussyhurt about it


    btw keep your 4.0, Ill settle for a 3.4, making it rain in the club, banging the broads, wheelin and dealin and being the man

    I would think what you are seeing is lack of mass over your rib cage.
    If you stick with it and really do hit a solid 185 by summer, chances are these lines you are talking about will be gone.
    There is no secret pill, formula or trick for this stuff. Its all about getting your ass to the gym, lifting what you can and eating good clean foods for now.
