that will make my 30" cinema display talk to my macbook C2D? External video card or something?
i just wish they kept the 12" option for the mbp like the powerbook had, I don't want to lug around that slab...
I'm always curious what intense activities people are partaking in that make the extra couple of inches and few extra ounces of a 15" or 17" laptop such an encumberance. I mean, once it's in its bag, I don't even know how big my laptop is, and I've NEVER felt like it was too heavy for anything.
I mean, maybe if I was running a marathon with my MBP I'd be stressing about the size.
That is directly from the Cinema Display website.
I've traveled with my macbook pro too, and it doesn't bother me at all. Taken it out during car rides/airplane trips etc, and at the library. IMO the 17 is a bit too big but the 15 is perfect.
can't.... make it... into... Starbucks.... guys...
Macbook....Pro... too heavy.
go on.... without ....
yea, i checked that out too but couldn't find the "optional adapter" you would need to use to connect to a MB
30" display requires a dual link DVI output.
macbook only supports single link DVI.
its not possible it doesnt matter what the website says
well i have both a macbook and a macbook pro and after carrying the macbook, the mbp is a freakin lead plank. Maybe you guys are just use to carrying it...
um, maybe words would better express your point....
Since I have both, I think I would know...
MB = 5.2lbs
MBP(17") = 6.8lbs
1.6lbs...come on now
again, only said from experience of carrying both during the day...
I love the 13.3" size of my macbook...i just wish they'd come out with a 12" ro 13" MBP
im sorry, you're right
what you wanted to hear, no?
I think we're all just sick of people bitching about how the Macbook sucks but they can't afford to lug around the MASSIVE macbook pro.
All .4 ounces more
i love my macbook and i afforded to lug my mbp around too
i just want to be friends :3some:
I'll be friends, but not the kind you said . I don't do that stuff
i dont even think a 15" would fit in my messenger back. its just personal preference, its easier to hold on your lap, the demensions of a school book, etc.
why would anyone get 15" mbp's instead of a 17"? 2 inches obviously makes a difference.
