I'm always curious what intense activities people are partaking in that make the extra couple of inches and few extra ounces of a 15" or 17" laptop such an encumberance. I mean, once it's in its bag, I don't even know how big my laptop is, and I've NEVER felt like it was too heavy for anything.

I mean, maybe if I was running a marathon with my MBP I'd be stressing about the size.

I've traveled with my macbook pro too, and it doesn't bother me at all. Taken it out during car rides/airplane trips etc, and at the library. IMO the 17 is a bit too big but the 15 is perfect.

30" display requires a dual link DVI output.

macbook only supports single link DVI.

its not possible it doesnt matter what the website says

I think we're all just sick of people bitching about how the Macbook sucks but they can't afford to lug around the MASSIVE macbook pro.

    All .4 ounces more :mamoru:

i dont even think a 15" would fit in my messenger back. its just personal preference, its easier to hold on your lap, the demensions of a school book, etc.

why would anyone get 15" mbp's instead of a 17"? 2 inches obviously makes a difference.
