As long as sufficient rest is included?
    Mon cardio
    Tues Strength
    Wed Cardio
    Thurs Strength
    Friday Cardio
    Sat Strength
    Sunday Rest

I'm looking for fat loss (which I am getting right now). I am thinking once I reach my goal I can go to a more focused body group each day.

Would work IMO if you only do like 1 exercice per muscle group for that one "strength day."

i did a full body routine for several years, every other day.
split routines are totally different. with the full body i would get exhausted, but with the split i can barely move that body part. I've been seeing good results with purs routine in the stickies. I do his routine except i add 10 minutes of elliptical to get the blood flowing and get into the "lift" mood, then on the days without lifts ill go in and do cardio. sometimes if i'm feeling up to it ill do lifts in the morning then go back in the evening and do a cardio session, thats only maybe once a week that i go twice in a day. Sunday i take totally off, no weights, no cardio, just sit around and think about leg day on monday :noes:

welcome to triathlon training...only without as much cardio...

you should put another rest day in... (or at least a light recovery day)

It's fine. The popular fat loss programs like Afterburn and Turbulence Training use whole body training.

Exactly. It's been working for me. I've gained 50lbs in a year doing that. Next quarter I'm going to change from it as I'd like to focus more on each group instead of sometimes having to leave knowing my muscles could've done more. Either way it works...
