I know on my windows PC I can lock it by holding down two buttons. Is there anything like that with the Macs?

In the Security system preference you can set it to require the system password to wake the computer from sleep or screen saver. Then set the screen saver to come on after 5 minutes or whatever and turn on Hot Corners so you can just put the mouse into the corner of the screen to activate the screen saver.

:werd: I lock my MBP at work, but anyone with an account on the machine can unlock it as well, unless you have filevault enabled. :o
