    :dunno:

both have an extra bit of support/cushion on the knee & elbow areas.

well, i just bought a judo gi for bjj. i think my newbness will be to blame why i'll get beat up, not the fact that my gi is slightly out of place.

but i was surprised it only cost $43
i was sure it would cost ~$100

Like chechen said, I think they are just a little baggier around the sleeves.

fuk, i'm having a hard time trying to decide. I'm looking at these Gi's

Dax Moskito, Adidas Elite (judo), Mizuno Ichiban, Adidas sensei (aikido, but it's the same as the Judo "champion" model) and the Adidas Champion (BJJ) i'm broke as hell....... so all those are around my price range.

I'm a judo dude..... anybody have preferences to the gi's mentioned???

As for the original poster, i think it's something to do with the sleeves being either shorter or the sleeves not being as baggy with bjj gi's.

no gi judo, we do that on fridays if we want to wear gis or no gis
I like to practice without gi sometimes, cuz it's more practical, but ripped t-shirts are sorta stupid looking when i walk out of the class.

As for Gi's i think i'm gonna get the Dax Moskito, fuckin thing is almost impossible to grip........... i think i might spray pam on my sleeves too :naughty: :squint:
