Is there any cadio OT recomends, that won't lean you out?

    Its winter here, and therefor swimming is getting slightly freezing and unbearable. It was one of the sole cadio types i found, that actually added to building muscle, and didn't attempt to strip you of all your weight, like running used too.

    I'm really not very keen to get back into running, as most runners i know are absolutely scrawny. What exercise do you recommend. Something like riding? That tends to bulk peoples legs out?

    Just eat more to compensate for the calories you burn?

    you're over-thinking, the type of cardio you do really isn't going to make a difference.

    i like rowing. gives me a real good workout in my legs and back

    it doesn't matter what type of cardio you do -- expending more calories than you consume is going to make you lose weight.

    so what do you do?

    fair enough, i have always been told specific forms, such as running, will actually make your body attempt to lean out the muscles its not using, so it is more efficient.
