I was just curious and want to know now
Normally all the files should be numbered . Whatever the last shot you took should read how many shutter actuations it has taken .
I thought about that but looking back on some i have taken a few years ago it doenst
its somewhere in the EXIF data
look at EXIF.
until you don't format a cf card from another camera or a while ago. there's other things that screw it up as well
for canon, only the 1 series can be correctly found out yourself
Try this online EXIF viewer:
I found it for my Nikon D40x labeled as "Shutter Count".
cool site but i get no such label for my D50
Never mind, it didn't work on a JPEG but it worked on a RAW file (NEF)
thanks a lot man, I've been curious about this for a while...
I'm at 9,441 and I've had it for 13 months
Depends which camera you have. Some will have it in the EXIF.
