A&P Is there a way to find out how many shots my camera has fired

    Normally all the files should be numbered . Whatever the last shot you took should read how many shutter actuations it has taken .

    its somewhere in the EXIF data

    look at EXIF.

    until you don't format a cf card from another camera or a while ago. there's other things that screw it up as well


    for canon, only the 1 series can be correctly found out yourself

    Never mind, it didn't work on a JPEG but it worked on a RAW file (NEF)

    thanks a lot man, I've been curious about this for a while...

    I'm at 9,441 and I've had it for 13 months :coold:

    Depends which camera you have. Some will have it in the EXIF.
