Apparently if a firearm is classified as a relic, it's exempt from the 10 day waiting period in Ca. Does anyone know if the Mosin is actually one? I really want to buy one but im too damn impatient not to be able to walk out the store with it.

Depends on its age, basically the way I think it works is if its 100 or more years old its an antique and can bypass all the FFL stuff, occasionally you see rifles like that in sportsmans guide that they can ship straight to you with no ffl or c&r needed. There are Mosins out there that fall into this catagory.
