I'm about ready to take this bastard in to the Apple Store and find out why it constantly feels like it's overheating when all I'm doing is web-browing and chatting on IM :ugh:.

Also my trackpad stopped working for no reason last night. Really :wtf: I thought these things were supposed to be bug/crash free.

can you hear a fan running on your own? I get the feeling that it may not be working on my own.

my pb g4 gets really hot sometimes when i leave it on my lap for awhile with no ventalation, and i dont think the fan has come on once yet since i owned it.. oct 2005.. so i think the fan comes on only in very very extreme situations..
