Big 5 usually has bad prices on ammo. And wtf is with Walmart's price on 50, seems like it should be 100 for that price.

I went last night and they were selling a box of 50 for 14.99. I might go check a different walmart and see if I can find it cheaper.

    Terrible price as already said.

I've used the Remington UMC stuff a couple times and I quit using it mainly because of irregularities. I got one batch where the recession above the rim of the cartridge did not exists (the whole cartridge was shortened) well technically it did exists it was another larger rim stacked on top of correct rim. The only reason I noticed it was because is made the rears of my cartridges stick out too far and my wheel gun wouldn't close. Anyways if it had been in a semi-auto, it could have easily improperly chambered and the casing could have failed and well that wouldn't be pretty.

I got 2 of those in one box and stopped using it, I just stick with WWB never had a problem with QC or them going bang.

A good carry ammo is a ammo that feeds in your gun without problems and you seem to be accurate with (or that the gun likes) I personally started with Federal Hydra Shocks, but everyone keeps telling me that they are out of date, so I will probably try the gold dots like everyone else when I finish up the last few rounds.

edit: what are you feeding the ammo to anyways?

I'm still trying to decide on a first gun. I've been trying out a few at the range and i'm almost 100% certain i'm going with the s&w m & p 9mm. Right now i'm just stocking up on ammo.
