Is pink floyd, in fact, a band with fascist/neo nazi beliefs?

I am just as big of a Pink Floyd fan as the next guy, however, after finally seeing The Wall - and the many direct/indirect refrences on fascism/neo nazism - coupled with the famed photo of the band (roger, dave, nick, rick) all giving the "Hitler salute", it leads me to believe that they may indeed be a band with fascist undertones. Am I correct by saying this? What is your guys' input?:hsughno:

It was more a satire of the fascist system. You honestly can't see that?

    At first glance, maybe.

But like the poster above me mentioned... satire and even humour comes into play.

I remember reading about it somewhere, I think it was an interview with Roger Waters or something

edit: wikipedia "The Wall", pretty much explains it
