I have a 23" ACD and it's pretty hot, not too hot to touch but it's definitey quite warm. It has 2 dead pixels and I've only had it for 2 weeks so I'm getting a new one anyway, but I was wondering if they are supposed to get so warm.

I have one too, and apart from the top it's realitivly cool. The top I would say feels like a lukewarm cup of water/coffee. Or if you put your hand under your armpit. :)

My 20" really doesn't, but the shells are aluminum so any heat at all will radiate very easily.

after some time, most lcd's will get warm. it shouldn't be hot to the touch but it will definitely get warm.
