My training partner always gives me shit for not putting much power behind my left jabs. Mind you I don't throw it out all weak and lazy, it's still a nice stiff jab, I just don't put all the power into that I could.
I mainly just use it for distancing so I can throw a bomb with my right cross.

    any comments?

The jab is not a power punch. Granted if yo uhave a jab that is hard thats good. Your jab is meant to be fast. Its to make your opponent blink so the punch after it is not seen and lands that much better.

As long as it's stiff enough to keep the distance, it's fine.
