Speaking about the lack of map control when trying to play a game. I find this whole matchmaking really ludicrous and stupid.

Yes, you can't pick your map. They're on a rotation based on which match settings are being used.

Auto-cycling maps = best way to play online imo.

But it gets shitty when one map is played 5 times in an hour, and some maps you dont play once

Less like Halo, more like Rainbow Six. So yes, I think it is better.

The map with the jesus statue or whatever it is, is the only map I've only played like once or twice in all the time I've played.

Meanwhile, Afghan and the bunker map I've played alot

What's so fucking hard about programming the game to play on a specific map? :ugh:

Even the original Quakeworld had this option.

i like the way uncharted 2 had their map/mode selection. more games need to do that short of shit: give players in the pre-game lobby the option to vote between two maps.

I must admit I'm a little dissapointed in the campaign.

Ive just finished the oilrig mission. So far the only cool bit has been the slow mo hostage rescues. The airport scene was ok but I hate being restricted to a slow as shit walk

    (I'm agreeing with you:noes:)

They want to charge $10 for DLC ability to vote on maps.

and an additional $1 each time you vote. ;)

The first one is still $50 :ugh:

It is not like you can wait a year to pick it up cheaper. MW was worth $60 because of the new modern warfare theme and perk system but MW2 looks more like a Modern Expansion than a full game.

The original MW isn't $50, it's $40 on steam and you can find it cheaper on ebay. Buy.com is selling MW2 for $40 already also :hsugh:

Downloading = free = no waiting.

I agree the first one was worth $50, then they fagged up the multiplayer, shortened single player, and added some half assed perks to charge $10 more.
