Been reading the past threads with all the info, just curious though if it's worth it right now. Are primers/brass/etc available right now, or is reloading turning into the new trend?

basically right now it is hard to find any primers that are not shotshell and when they do come in stock they are sold out within an hour.

Check your local stores, I've found primers every time I go in. I may not be able to buy 5k at a time but enough to keep the press running. Ymmv.

If you see small rifle primers buy them for me and I'll paypal you. You can ship them to me on my UPS account.

Yeah, I 've had no luck finding primers anywhere online and even IRL around here they're either sold out or jacked prices. I've been lucky enough to find 2 people through friends who are selling reloading components including powder and primers for long-ago-prices but that's only a few thousand.

Brass is pretty available and not terribly priced if you look around for it. Projectiles seem to be increasing in price with everything else but that's a cost of materials and a supply/demand thing just like loaded ammo I assume.

I would say it's all out there and if you can secure the primers then the rest you'll just have to look for a deal on.

Thank god for reserves. My buddy used to make fun of me for buying reloading shit that I didn't need.

I don't have a LARGE reserve by any means but having 5k or more of any style of primer means that they can last me about 2 years worth of shooting. I don't shoot centerfire all that much anymore. About 150 rounds a month if I'm lucky during the summer/spring.
