A&P Is it worth getting the 18-70 to replace my 18-55?

    Yes, the 18-70 is worth trading in the 18-55 for.

    I say go 18-200VR. Yea, you will be making an upgrade from 18-55 to 18-70, but enough upgrade to justify the cost.

    That 18-200VR is pretty nice, but at over twice the cost of the 18-70, it's only realistic to consider the extra money involved.

    quality wise? its not really that much different that will warranty the change imo

    the 18-200 will be a better upgrade but the cost + availability factor may become another issue

    Get the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 instead of the 18-70. Should have just got the D70...

    Yes, but I would wait and buy what you REALLY want.
    Upgrading your glass in small steps < Buying good glass once

    yes it is, but you're better off with a 18-200 VR

    You're also better off with a 12-24 f/4 and a 70-200 f/2.8

    Mid range be damned.
