I'm pondering buying the cissus powder from 1fast400 and capping now while obviously cost wise there is a benefit I'm just curious if it is a pain in the ass to do and if there is a specific kit I should look into buying?

That's your typical response to most other males.

what's with this new cissus bandwagon? I'm really getting sick of supplements all together. I might just go with the super basics like whey, creatine, fish oil, muilti-vit, and BCAA from now on, it's getting so damn expencive for all this crap

I buy 100g cissus bulk powder because I tried cissusRX when it first came out because i used to get this bad tendonitis in my left elbow. It went away after I started taking the USPlabs product. The bulk powder is cheaper, so I take that now...$10 for like a 1.5month supply is not bad.

    I only take:
    Whey
    Fish/Flax
    Cissus
    CEE

I'm no expert, but it looks like cissus is one of the few suppliments that work.

    fish oil
    CEE
    CLA (carcinogen shit)
    cissus
    st john's wort

NOxplode has a fuckton of bad too,. The informed people on this board, the ones with real independant data, disapprove.

As far as cisssus goes I don't claim for it to be the new cureall of the world however I've gone through 3 bottles from UGP and I can honestly say it works for ME. With that in mind I don't think anyone can honestly expect to massively increase your bench or squat because of it you have to look at it for what it is. The supplement helps some people that have joint, tendon, ligament, and muscle pain. For me having something that brings my daily pain level from a 6-7 to a 2 makes my days manageable without being on things like Celebrex, Vioxx etc.

I do however sympathize with the expense part of it.

yea you're right, but I'm just saying that at a glance it appears to be very popular, and one normally thinks that if a supplement is popular, it must work. Bandwagon supplements are a tricky beast.

And it might all be mental, just like the NO products.

This will get flamed, but lately I've been wondering how people justify taking some supplement, natural/herbal or not, to make some kind of progress, yet cut down real drugs that actually work like anabolic steroids for instance. Isnt it the same thing taking one substance to do something as it is another? I know legally, and health wise there is/could be a huge difference but that's not what I'm getting at.

Performance enhancing supplements are accepted, performance enhancing drugs are not. Almost seems hypocritical to me. *I'm not supporting any drug use by making this statement*

having taken vicodin, oxys, and darvocet I can honestly believe that whatever the reason I'm not feeling pain I don't care because the previous 3 at times wouldnt do it. The mind is a powerful thing and if taking the cissus stops my pain I'll do it...not getting into the rest of the post :o

I really don't think the pain alleviated from my elbow was mental. On heavy days, it would hurt to the point that it was painfull to drink a glass of water afterward.
