My friend and I desperately want to go to 111 in New Jersey, but, unsurprisingly, the prices are insane.

Now, I've heard from some people that for the most part, its impossible to get a good view of the fight regardless of where you are. Is that actually the case?

Yeah you'll probably just end up watching the big screen....something you can do at home or at any bar.

I'd still like to go someday. :o

Friend was at UFC 100 and said that he sat in the middle (plaza area) and had a pretty crappy view. He said you either spend a shitload of money and sit as close as possible or buy the shittiest tickets and go there just for the atmosphere (and to watch off the screens)

I went to 84...we went to Vegas..and were suppose to get really good tix through a friend I knew that had connections...well of course that fell through...but we had a good week gambling and the UFC was the reason we were there..( I took my bro as a graduation present) so we had to buy some off a scalper...we were 2 rows from the top of the MGM....and it was absolutely fucking awesome...best live sporting event ive ever been to..besides the ignorant Hawaiian fans calling Sean Sherk a snow monkey the whole time (main event for 84 was Sherk-Penn)....our seats were high up, but we could still tell what was going on teh whole time. and enjoyed it immensely....the best part of the whole weekend was meeting the fighters throughout the weekend in the casino and such..

We actually snuck backstage the day before the weigh ins under the mgm, while the fighters were doing their promos and shadow boxing (where its raining with the black background)...the 3 people doing the promotion stuff form the UFC were awesome, and basically told my brother and I as long as we stayed out of the way..they didnt care that we were there....got to meet and talk to a ton of fighters including Lesnar, Tito, Machida, Thiago Silva, Carwin, Christian Wellich (even though he was a huge dick, happy to see Carwin one punch his dumb ass) just hangin out...absolutely loved it....

FYI..best part of the live show....5 minutes before the event is scheduled go live on PPV...they play a highlight video to the song Teenage wasteland by The Who.....gets you absolutely fuckin jacked up..you want to punch the guy next to you lol.

In conclusion...yes, it is an expensive event..but if you are a big MMA fan like myself..I think its a must seem especially if you havent been live...we paid more than face value for our tickets, and I felt it was completely worth it....

this is just my opinion...hope this helps

The only reason why you would want to go is for the atmosphere, if being around a bunch of rowdy drunks and scantily clad women is your thing, than be all means, go for it.

If you actually want to see the fight, just stay home and order the PPV.

When you go to any sporting event you dont go to get the best view of the event you go for the atmosphere. Go enjoy the atmosphere and watch the event on replay.

Totally worth it. I spent $300ish and it was awesome. I had a great view. Could see 99% of the action.

I went to UFC 73. Bought the cheapest $50 tickets and ended up sneaking down into the first row of the second level (Arco arena had a lot of empty seats that day). Could see perfectly down into the cage. Was an awesome time.

Paid $270 for our seats. We were first row of second level, good view. Watched a lot on the big screen. It was more of an "Experience". Got fucking wasted with a bunch of my Bros (and a Cager!).. It was a good time..

I wouldn't do it again. Glad I did it once.

havent been to a UFC event, only one live MMA event, and this sums it up for me too. I'd rather watch at home with some good friends who's company I enjoy. If it werent for the crowds i;'d love to go to more events.

Id never go to a live UFC i would rather watch at the comfort of my own home. I would actually preffer to go to a low ball show then a ufc because its easier to get good seats. Low ball seats at a ufc = three baller seats at a low ball show

Gonna get a fight club membership so i can get tickets ahead of time. I think the best seats would probably be where the fighters do their little check up before entering the cage or near the entrance area because you can get good photos of them.

Vegas has all the casinos so you can see the fighters just chilling around. I don't know what they're going to do with UFC 115 since GM Place is usually closed unless there is an event going on.

Your first UFC is always memorable, its worth it to pay the price. :)

As for seats, the mid level to high seats are the best, in order to watch the fights. I've been on the floor, I've been 2 feet from the cage for fights...not worth it.

I think I'll be in Newark as well, so if I come up on tickets, I'll twitter some away. <3

I was just thinking about getting tickets for the June one out here closer to the top. There seriously isn't a bad seat in GM place. Was lucky when I worked for EA used to get lots of tickets, I bet they even get some for this too. :wtc:

Went to one KOTC fight, with a bunch of the IE's finest lol I still had a good time though. However being that I am close to the LA area I was really disappointed in the crowd when shogun vs machida fought. It made me ashamed to be a mma fan from socal, so I think I will end up going to one in vegas.

Unfortunately, there have been few locations where I haven't been disappointed with the fans at the show. But you're gonna get that no matter where you go (besides Japan) because of the unfortunate audience mma draws.
