    People are generally stupid.

From a business standpoint, this really is huge. Bungie will go multiplatform with the publishing power of activision to back it up.

From a gaming standpoint...meh. Maybe it'll push Bungie to do something new and interesting, but I doubt it.

It is a big deal - Bungie has a huge following and no matter how much of a Halo hater you are you have to admit that nobody takes care of their community as well as Bungie does - that's why people love them so much.

It's Activision, I'm sure they'll push Bungie to make a Halo clone.

    Yes, it is too early.

    1. You don't know what it's about.
    2. They've only ever made an FPS
    3. Even their FPS aren't all that cool and original.

One thing about Bungie though is what I guess you could call the "Apple Effect" which is something I just coined right now because I don't know how else to describe it. All of Apples stuff is made only for apple stuff (with a few exceptions) so there are few problems because they don't have to try to be compatible with lots of different hardware. Halo games work really well on the Xbox 360 because that's all they're developing for. Now they're going to be making cross-platform games and we all know that at least ONE system gets the shaft with that

I didn't include the wii. One thing off the top of my head when I say one system gets the shaft is Just Cause 2. On PC you have mods. On PS3 you have the ability to record and upload your stuff to youtube. On 360 you have jack shit
