oh ok. yeah, you should have that done on any 3+ yr old used car you buy, regardless of model

There's lots of manual trans coupes. Sedans are harder to find. Cop one of the ZHPs

you can find a E46 M3 for about $18k, with some miles. Expect to pay around $28k for a low mile, well taken care of E46 M3

I can vouch for Kerry's m3. The thing is a work of art on wheels. The new owner will be a lucky person.

When Juha owned it..who knows. Since KG has owned it he hasen't really beaten on it. Yea the car was pushed but thats what it was built for. Hes taken great care of it. If I was able to unload my damn escalade i'd buy that car in a heartbeat :(

i picked my 2002 e46 2 years ago for 31000 w/ 48k when purchased fully loaded except nav and park assist. and 6spd.

i would recommend taking into consideration cost of modding your car to your taste. i ended up spending close to 9 grand.

    my mods are
    Dinan Performance Engine Software

    Dinan Front Strut Tower Brace

    Dinan Rear Shock Tower Brace

    Dinan/Stage 2 Suspension System (Koni)

    Dinan Short Shift Kit
    http://www.dinancars.com/store/Short-Shift-Kit-Manual-c-732-p-1537.html
Supersprint's E46 Exhaust/header for the m3 Its Expensive but Youtube it and you'll know why i bought it. its expensive just over 5 grand for the whole system. find it at http://www.turnermotorsports.com
Turner Motorsports E46 M3 Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Kit
    http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=BMW46M3

those are my recommendations for performance mods to a m3 its tried i haven't had it dyno'd since its all been done but i would figure i would be making just over 300 at the wheels and can show a vette my taillights with out to much trouble.

supersprint stuff is on sale right now by the way at turner motorsports
