Slide when you turn on water?

Slide out when you take a curve at a high speed?

Slide when you turn right or left?

Joking aside, I have always wanted to own a ramair t/a but my only problem with the cars is that I want to know if that car can handle with little done do it

Apparently they can with some mods.

I want one but don't really care about all-out handling though. More interested in the styling, cruising with the t-tops off and head-tossing.

handle, and handle very well. Shitty tires will make it slide

A good suspension will grip to the end of the tire's ability and then keep the car in control once they brake.

yeah I know but shitty tires will obviously make the car slide with any suspension under the car

Sure. Just put some Michelin Pilot Exaltos on them and it'll stick to the road like glue.

very true. But unless you're on walmart economy rubber or some crap like that I was just saying suspension is the first way I'd go on such a vehicle. :)

My 4th gen WS6 handles great with the suspension mods I've done to it, but my stock 3rd gen GTA handles better with it's factory suspension setup.

Curious what suspension mods you did?

A lot of times they actually make the car handle worse. But of course its a matter of everything from the level of modification to the changes you made and how they work with the chassis and tires to the alignment shop you take it to. If there's a definition of exact inexact science, suspension/tire/chassis matching are it. :sadwavey:

Its why a lot of what I call "real" car people will tell you to just leave it stock unless you do major engine modifications or pay out the ass to have someone do it right or buy a kit that was done right. A lot of people dont know that changing ride height inherently changes suspension geometry which inherently changes how the tire grips and different high performance tires are designed to grip different ways. Especially in tires designed specifically for one car.

My WS6 definitely handles a lot better now than when it was stock. I guess what I should've said is that my 3rd gen GTA handles better stock than what my 4th gen WS6 did when it was stock.

My 4th gen WS6 has Eibach Sportline springs, adjustable Konis, a complete Hotchkis adjustable rear suspension package, poly bushings front and back and an adjustable torque arm.

never had a problem with handling but than again never expected it to be perfect. The only gripe i have its the brakes, that could have done such a better job.
