    well there's your problem.

go to a STORE. or shop a manufacturers website. Not the online fleemarket.

    Well there's your problem.

I know Lenovo, and Dell do, as i've seen them recently. I'm willing to bet that all the major manufactures still offer XP.

Edit: Dammit, Jolly beat me to it!

dell.com was my first choice. I picked out the laptop, but could not select XP, it was not an option

To be fair that would about as repair-prone as a Dell.

On my 3rd Dell Laptop in 6 years, and each one has been replaced to upgrade to faster processors etc, and never had an issue. Guess you guys just dont know what Dell to buy!

I have an Inspiron 8200 that, over it's 4 year life, had 1 panel, 2 mother boards, and 2 batteries replaced.

OP, try looking in the Small Business section. They might not make it widely available to Home buyers, but i know i've seen it under Small Business.

Like said, look at the SB section on Dell.com. IIRC not all Dell machines will have XP as an option.
