Is it necessary to be leveled up to enjoy the Fallout 3 expansions?

My 360 along with the harddrive got stolen a couple months ago before I got around to playing the expansions. I had a level 20 dude with like 60+ hours into it and did pretty much every quest there is to do. I don't really want to do all that again. Not because it wouldn't be fun (I'm already getting hooked again :o ), but because I get too sucked in and don't want to be a slave to that game again like that, lol. I just restarted last night and am on level 5, should I start playing the expansions or level up some more? I plan on playing them in the order they were released.

If you had an xbox live account you could recover it, and be right where you left off. :hs:

It's gonna be easier if you have al the perks and whatnot, but there's nothing to stop you.

Saying that, Point Lookout will be a challenge, because of the uber beast rape armor ignoring shotguns those fucks have.

Pretty sure I recovered a game and it let me continue where I left off. Probably would be different for Fallout though. Probably some games do, some don't. I wanna say it was Prototype that let me. Not positive though.

i walked out with a ton of weapons (all 100%) over 3-6k rounds and some armor, then i got all the stuff that was in the locked room.

    its for op anchorage.

go to the outcast base, talk with them but before going into the sim, drag the dead gary 23 body into the sim pod, position it so if your crouched in the chair, you can open his pack, then start the game. its a bitch though, you gotta beat the whole OA to see if it worked. last night it didn't for me, but i just kept reloading my last save before it ends to retry, basically i kept looking down and hitting A to open garys backpack, if you manage to do this before the lights come up, you can dump all of the weapons/gear you had in OA in garys body. just make sure before you go into the pod that the last thing you were centered on was garys body.

and if you do the basecamp glitch (get a weapons requisition form get the weapons, then dump them on the ground before getting another one, including ammo)

took me about 2 hours to do, most of that was requisitioning more weapons and waiting for the load screens

    where's your toque, eh?
So is any of that shit worth your time?

I just finished the main game, and started Broken Steel today. I got all original achievements, and since I'm having so much fun, I think I'm going to get the other DLCs and finish this fucker off fully. I'm level 25 right now. May as well go for all of the achievements and full completion. Then I'm going to play through Oblivion methinks. :hs:

really isn't as much as it sounds, i wasn't really interested in doing the whole dlc over again just for weapons, if it didn't work i was gonna move on, but luckily it did :)

wow, I cleaned up in O:A. lol

Went in at like level 7 and came out at 17 with all the loot. I glitched it to the max. I normally would not do that but since I already beat this game before I wanted to get leveled up where I left off before my hdd was stolen.
