can this bike just not lean as easily as regular sport bikes? maybe its the bars or maybe its the seat angle but i just cant seem to get low on this thing. riding my buddies gix600 i can almost get knee (im short thus have short legs) but it doesnt seem to come even close on my sv. huge assed chicken strips.

whats my problem? should i finally go out and do my clip on swap? i kind of dont want to just because the position is kind of uncomfortable for me

I had issues with mine when I had the stock tires on, the profile just seemed off. I noticed a massive difference when I changed to Pilot Powers, my chicken strips are almost gone (I tend to not do silly things while on the street, and it hasn't been to the track yet) and it handles much better.

I found it easier to do initial turn in w/ the bars, when I switched over to the clip-ons, initial turn in was a bit slower, but that could be since I ran a 70 series front tire instead of the 60 series.

Compared to other bikes I've ridden, which hasn't been many... just a 05 FZ6 and a 07 600RR, the SV have far quicker turn in then both with even the clip ons.

Stability of the SV in the corner isn't great though, more like horrible :o

yeah ive noticed that she feels almost wobbly in the turn. and i can attest that to probably needing new tires soon. and since i dont track it, and rarely ride hard, its hard to tell.

SV650 has not a full size tire in the back - less contact patch = cant lean as far.

Probably caused by the rear suspension. It sucks in the twisties.
