I have an unopened netgear Super G Wireless USB 2.0 adapter for my netgear wireless router. my internet connection is not that great, i have the 1.5mb download rate service. I'm on my laptop that has the standard built in wireless adapter (802.11g right?).

I'm questioning whether using the super g wireless adapter would make a difference in my internet connection. Will i be able to surf faster? should i just return it...

    thank you for your time

it depends... if you're not getting your full connection speed then you need to figure out why. Is your computer too far away from the router? It also depends on the adapter, but an external adapter will probably perform better than an internal one. But if you're already getting the full speed then don't bother.
