Im used to always pushing a button so that the drives open & close and to never push it back in manualy with your hand cause it could break.
Well I recently bought a new computer and when you push the button to open up the drive a flap pop's down and the drive comes out but when you want it to go back in, there is no button for it to go back in because of the flaps, so you have to push it back in with your hand.

So is this good or bad?

Like Ludelover said, it shouldn't harm it. Just make sure you're careful when you push it back in so it doesn't bend.
