is it bad to eat really late? v.im hungry

    okay well i usually go to the gym at about 12 or 1 at night, gym is open 24 hours, and wehn i get home i usually take my protein shake and then eat the mcdonalds or whatever i grab on the way home...so i am usually eating around 2ish...is it bad??
    i go to sleep at like around 3-4
    wake up at about 10 or 12 around there

    Eating at night != bad
    mcdonalds = bad

    im in the same boat as you, its 2 am and i just got out of the gym. about to drink a shake then eat some pasta.

    time is irrelevant, but i don't how well "mcdonalds or whatever i grab" is gonna work out for you :rofl:

    if your cutting = bad
    bulking = perfectly fine


    i work out late night as well and usually go for some meat with low carbs. something like a grilled chicken breast with veggies with a gatorade to drink

    wish i could eat healthy food but no one at my house cooks :wtc:
    i wish i knew how to cook, and its kidn of hard to whip something up at 2am :sad2:

    Actually, as long as you stay under or at maintenence, it is not bad either way. In fact, eating later at night can be good in the respect that it keeps your metabolism and digestive system working even while you are asleep. The key is to stay under maintenence if you are cutting.
