Is height really a factor in deadlifts?

    guys like knucks and DW who are around 5'6", 155 pulling well over 400, which is awesome

    would it be different if they were over 6' tall?

    ROM would be bigger so I'm guessing yes.

    on side note, i set a pr today, pulled 425x1 @ 193, 6'1"

    deadlifting is the only thing that i'm decent at and i think i have my tallness to thank for it

    it's more to do with the ratios of your limbs and torso

    i have a long torso and short legs, my dl isnt what it should be considering my overrall size

    limb ratio > height

    iirc some of the biggest deadlifters are tall

    I'm 6 foot 5 and have issues with my form sometimes, but it's due more to a lack of flexability in my hamstrings and not being able to get down quite far enough without rounding my lower back a lot.
