    :dunno:

I have some heart problems and I've been limited in the past few months to what I can do (not much of anything :hs: ). I just recently started doing some light push-ups and sit-ups and what not, just to feel like I'm doing 'something'...should I alternate days or just go ahead and keep doing the push-ups every day like I have been?

You might as well do them every day since they're not doing anything for you anyway.

Except increasing your body's endurance ability to do pushups and situps.

Well at least they make my chest, shoulders, back feel tight and at least like they're doing something...:hs:

Problem is I'm stuck pretty much on the couch all the time and even any little bit of walking causes dizzyness and exhaustion. Oh...I'm not a shut-in, this has just been going on for the last month or so.

I do "angled" push-ups...feet on the couch/hands on the floor...hands on the edge of the tub/feet on the floor, etc...

And pee back in them to increase. :)

In all seriousness, what's wrong with your heart? If you just want to stay active, you could just buy a jumprope or something. And/or get an exercise ball; you can do a lot of different exercises with those.

They haven't figured it out yet (damn doctors :( )...if I do anything as simple as walk to the bathroom or kitchen or up the flight of stairs to my 2nd floor apartment my heart starts racing and the pulse gets to about 140/150. They want to do a stress test but that's been delayed cuz of this lung infection I got somehow...it's just all a big frigging mess...:(
