i want to gain lean muscle mass.

would it be best to do christophers routine or a routine like this?

    m - legs

    w - chest/tris

    f - back/bis

**EDIT: so i should just clean bulk?? what are some foods to stay away from besides the obvious (high fat, high sugar foods) to help gain lean muscle mass??

do the "christophers" routine....it'll give youa solid foundation for the future and if, as Pur said, you have yoru diet in check you will gain a good deal of mass

diet dictates your gains, not your routine. do whatever you want

If you can squat, deadlift, and bench without killing yourself due to bad form, then it's a good routine

Hence the reason it has pull ups and rows in the program. You can do abs on any of the days
