It seems like Christophers routine is very simple and doesnt include a great variety of lifts. Now obviously it worked FUCKING GREAT for him, and it sounds like some of the rest of you love it too.

Just seems way to easy. :x:

If its "easy" then you're doing it wrong.

i am really confused, chris's routine sounds like a powerlifter routine, 5x5 program. am i right or wrong? so its good for power

and then u have people posting shit like
"if you want to be athletic, mobile, balanced, and healthy with low bodyfat, ask yourself: "What would a powerlifter do?" Then you do the opposite."

i am 5'10 and weight around 155-160 pounds
i am pretty athletic, i coach tennis etc (used to compete in tournaments)
i dont want to get bulk but i wanna build up a little and get cut ( i am already kinda cut but want to get my chest bigger and maybe a few other muscles)
i have been working out for about 2 years on (so i am not sure i need to do chris routine?) i decided i need a stable program

what would be a good program for me?

    someone educate me

it's a strength routine. you get stronger, your numbers go up, in turn you get bigger

It's designed to give you a strength base to build off of. After all, how big are you going to get benching 150lbs compared to 300?

Whether you get fat on it depends on how you diet and whether or not you're a dumbass.

I found it was REALLY demanding of my body. i was doing arnolds before i hit chris' routine and after a session at the gym (of chris' routine) i could hardly make it home safely i pushed that hard. I'd probably spend 30 mins rehydrating and eating fruit after i was done at the gym.

i hate driving when im fatigued.
