all of my long guns (ARs, AKs, 870s) that have slings are setup the same way
both ARs have the same exact config including light
both 870s have the same same side saddle

all of my glocks have the same sight set and same mag release. (sevigny carry, plain rear & tritium front and vickers mag release)

is this OCD? or just logical? i don't see the point in having similar weapons setup differently, especially if you're going to actually train with them to possibly use them.

i dont think its necessarily OCD.

i plan on having my AR carbines configured identically except for the optic (T1 vs. ACOG) :dunno: i wouldnt call it OCD but just ive found what i like so theres no reason to do anything different (since i'd probably end up with them being the same anyway)

I've got a pile of CZ parts sitting at my house that would probably rival Angus. All because I was insistent on converting all my guns (which were perfectly good) to '75SA type frames with matching control layouts.

Meh, if it helps, it will be worth it.

Got any adjustable sights laying around that I could stick on my CZ-97? :)

Same sights on carry guns, same manual of arms (grip, clear, push, pull), different triggers (Steyr M40A1, S9A1, P3AT, S&W M60 .357), but that's kind of where the similarity stops.

AR and M500 are both set up to be self sufficient should I grab one case or the other (light, nightsights, spare bulbs, spare batteries, and reloads for each) but the manual of arms is definitely different.

Practicality is not a symptom of OCD.

Aside from 2 Glocks I don't have multiples or really even similar enough platforms for it be reasonable.

The Glocks are similar but not identical. Both have WTS Sevignys, but the game gun has Comps and the carry gun has the Carry w/trit front. A thin strip of grip tape on the heal of the game gun and some internal mods. Both have OEM extended mag catches (drop the vickers off your production gun BTW)

the my production 34 has the factory mag catch but the vickers is legal now.

i can't search and post from work but the new production rules state it can't have any extra surface area afaik.

eta: nevermind, it says "factory/oem that extends the length..." so i guess aftermarket is out. i dont have that one in that gun anyway :o

They slipped "OEM" into the accepted rules, which wasn't in what they originally posted for review.

Prolly...... Have to check when I get home tho.

They would be the adjustable LPA's found on kadets and 85c's though if they were...... I think they suck, but whateva if you like them.

i thought i remembered reading that extended aftermarket releases would be okay. fuckers. screw it, the factory extended is faster but too long, imo, for concealed carry.

Consistency between guns you plan on training with or using is not OCD.

even my production 34 has the same sights (basically), just fiber optic front instead of tritium. :o

i figure i shoot the shit out of that one so my other glocks should have the same sight picture.

I'm wanting to say that Angus now has something different that fits that dovetail, but I've neither seen nor used one. You're honestly kinda fucked with the CZ factory dovetails and adjustables unless you wanna mill.

Personally I'd rather have it milled lower into the slide. I despise sights sticking up high.
