I signed up for fitday.com and then i realized i wasnt eating enough. I started to make sure i eat many small meals throughout the day, instead of just eating lunch and dinner. My typical intake was about 2500 calories or so, my current is up to 4k and this includes my protein shakes. Im 6'2" and only weigh 165 lbs, so im damy skinny. Will this change be enough for my body to take a change? i want to gain about another 20 lbs or so.

also because of my really hetic sheudule, sometimes i go to the gym on back to back days and train different parts. Is this okay, or will i be doing more harm then good?

best thing for you to do calorie wise is to just monitor your progress each week. see how much your gaining. back to back isnt the greatest thing in the world unless its an upper lower split

    Today I'm 6'3" 215-220lbs

Do you have the mental toughness to lift heavy and eat eat eat for the next 6 years, odds are you DO NOT

30 lbs in a year is a realistic goal I think, he'll only need to cut a little.

Damn dude, what were you eating? :eek4: That's terrible progress. 3 years would have been decent.

I eat 2500-3000 cals per day, and you can see my pics around here to see that I've got some decent chub on me now... I was much less bodyfat a few months ago, so obviously 3k is enough at 6'4" 192.

4k sounds like overkill, but then again I train differently and have different goals. Experiment with it, and if you get fat really fast, then cut down the cals.

I know the typical American guy wants to be packing an extra 30lbs of muscle/fat but carrying around 260lbs (Which I could obviously be by now if I ate like a pig) just isn't healthy, especially on the heart. I don't really want to be that big.
My next goal is a nice cut 220lbs :)

If looks was my goal I would do the exact same thing. 6'3" 220 is damn sexy.

And yeah, healthwise it's smarter to stay at less weight. The human heart doesn't grow proportional to height, so you're putting a lot more stress on it at 6'3" 260 than a guy who is 5'9" 220, even though proportionally he is bigger.
