the few choices on gunbroker go for about $1/round for FMJ
Historically, in my experience, .380 is either a) expensive or b) purchased only at gun shows.
I had a Colt Government .380 BUG for like a year and I think I shot it <100 times due to the high price of ammunition, and always had the same Speer JHPs for carry ammo in it. Obviously, I never shot any of that.
never realized .380 was expensive never payed attention to the prices
.380 really isn't that expensive - it's just super hard to find right now.
Saw some at WallyMart the last time I looked there (Wisconsin Rapids, WI). Haven't really been looking too hard, although I should pick up a box or two. Feeling the need to get me out to the range again.
NONE of our distributors have any - and haven't had any for quite some time.
My buddy did a coop there at a paper mill, what a boring town!
I've got 400 rounds, Academy sports has been getting in Monarch brand fairly regularly.
Its because no one is making it anymore to catchup with 9mm backorder
I can't find any around here, would like to though...
we bought a case from cabelas at $25/box of 50. we wont even sell it to shooters, only to customers who purchase a sig p232 from us, and even at that we will only sell 1 box. the rest is on reserve for private lessons and chl qualifications.
None around here.
Have to agree. It's certainly cheap to live here these days, though.
Returning to the topic, just returned from a W-Mart run. Couple boxes of .357, one box of .45. Every other pistol round is vacant. There's still some boxes of 7.62x39 and .223, but it's still priced over and above what I can bring myself to shell out. Maybe I'll check some of the other stores in the area tomorrow.
Have you checked Sportsman's Guide?
There all backordered....
i have like 30 rds of it left. I had to buy a box when I was shooting a buddy's Bersa. If you were local, I'll sell it to you for cheap. I dont have any .380
Just picked up 4 boxes at Dicks Sporting Goods for $72 It's out there, I've already got ~400 rounds, so off to Gunbroker this shit goes.
Wow, not mine but fucking amazing $1/round
